Instructions for joining Infragard:

While being a member of Infragard comes with some significant benefits, the sensitive nature of the information that members can access require that all members pass an FBI background check. Thus, the application process is somewhat more formal than that for other groups.

1. If possible, please apply at a local chapter meeting. Members can help to answer questions at this time.
2. All applications must be "typed". Filling out the form online and then printing it is often the easiest way to do this.
3. Open the Membership Application
4. Read the application, then fill it out. Our chapter name is "Des Moines, Iowa"
5. Print out your completed application
6. Sign and date page four (4) of the application
7. Bring your completed application to a meeting, or mail it to:

Once submitted, your application will be processed as quickly as possible. You will be notified of your InfraGard membership status. While your application is being processed, you are encouraged to attend open chapter meetings.
